Azelle's Treasures - Store Bio

Hi, all! My name is Azelle Mavendorf and I run Azelle's Treasures. I specialize in designing accessories for unique avatars. I joined SL in October of 2008 and immediately started building. It's a wonderful outlet for my creativity in both design and scripting, and I find myself making all sorts of things, from clothing and jewelry to homes and scripted gizmos. I found Tiny avatars within a week of joining SL, so most of my items are geared towards them, however I have recently started making jewelry for "big folk" as well, and I always accept commissions and requests to mod my items.

Recently I have started adding scripted menus to my jewelry to increase customization options. Instead of having to buy three crystal necklaces of different colors and keep them all in your inventory, you only need one! I plan to add such options to nearly all my jewelry products from here on.

In addition to physical products, I also happily accept landscaping and terraforming jobs of any size. It's another way to be creative while bringing joy and beauty to the SL world!

In the immediate future, I plan to expand my jewelry lines for full sized avatars. I have a lot of plans in that direction, so I hope you'll check back. ^.^ As always, I will be adding more fun scripted toys such as my color change stepping stones and bounce castle. To keep updated on my new releases as well as receive free gifts, be sure to click my subscribe-o-matic to join my no-group mailing list.

Happy hunting! ^.^

Elle's Fashion - Store Bio

Elle's Fashion House has been open officially for just under 6 months. The clothes I make are all about being cute fun, flirty and feminine.

The shop caters towards women and covers a broad range of fashion from ballgowns and bridesmaids dresses to the casual shorts and top sets, there are also a few separates available as well. There is always a specialty lucky chair for major events such as valentines day, Easter and Christmas with original items made specifically for this.

I enjoy what i do, as it allows me to have a break from the workload in RL, given that i have only been using Photoshop for a little under a year so Elle's will hopefully grow, the more my ability in this field does as well.

Tether's End Designs - Store Bio - Top 10 Q&A

1. Q. : What is your name & your shop's name?
     A. : Tether's End Designs

2. Q. : How long has the shop been open?
     A. : About 4 months

3. Q. : What kind of things do you sell in your shop?
     A. : Home and Garden products

4. Q. : Do you make everything you sell or do you have a partner you create with?
     A. : I make it

5. Q. : If you could be known for just one thing, what would that one thing be?
     A. : My rope bridges, they are what sell best and I really enjoyed making them.

6. Q. : Why did you start/open your business/shop?
     A. : Well I started making the bridges for the open sim a friend and I had just moved on to. I enjoyed the challenge of getting the curves right and making the rope look the way I wanted it, so when I was done with them I looked for other things to build. In the end I had enough items and I just thought 'Oh why not?" It couldn't hurt to try out renting a small shop, but that didn't work so well. Of course it is hard to sell bridges in a small shop unless you have a main store where people can actually see them. So we decided it couldn't hurt to list the parcel in search and put them on sale, any L's that helped pay the tier had to be a good thing. So it just went from there and has been growing slowly since.

7. Q. : If you had to put a label on your brand, what would it be?
     A. : Outdoor Living

8. Q. : In the future, what can we expect to see coming into your store?
     A. : I just made a couple of swings and am working on some more designs, I am learning clothes making but that is a long slow process with a steep learning curve so that may never become anything more than clothes for myself. I also have several different bridge designs I am working on for more variety. Bridges will probably remain my focus.

9. Q. : What age group do you gear your items to?
     A. : Everyone

And lastly....

10. Q. : Do you have an Updates Group? If so, what is the title, or is it a subscription service?
     A. : I have a Subscribe-o-Matic group and an SL group, both are called Tether's End Designs

Trixxy's Shop - Shop Bio

Hello!

My name is Trixxy Oh, and I am the sole owner and creator for Trixxy's Shop. I was wandering through Second Life for almost a year, and felt I wanted to have a purpose. Not just be another Avatar floating around just partying and shopping. (Which I still love to do by the way lol) So I decided to start creating things people might want to wear. I opened this shop in a tiny little space at Ravenwear in early December of 2007.

It grew and grew, and now I have my own parcel with a large shop on it. I started simply with some skirts and a few little accessories. As my knowledge for building grew I was able to make more things, such as full outfits, jewelry, and other accessories. The more I made, the more I realized I loved creating belts. I found that was the best way to show my creativity and sense of humor. I am known amongst my friends as the Belt Queen lol

I have lately increased my knowledge of Photo Shop and have been able to create better outfits and fun things. I create at least one new thing almost every day.

My shop is now known for clothing and accessories for men and women with an Urban touch. I also sell Urban style furniture. I love creating just about anything, and hopefully someday I will be a one stop shop where any avatar can come in and find anything their hearts desire :)

I love to participate in hunts, and I love to give away freebies in my group. Honestly, my real joy is going out and seeing someone wearing something I've made.

At the moment, I am offering free pair of boots to either men or women when they join my group. All you have to do is search Trixxy's Shop, join and then send me a notecard that you have joined with your name, and whether you'd like the men or women's boots, and I will get them to you ASAP!

See you in the shop!

5. Q. : If you could be known for just one thing, what would that one thing be?
     A. :Oh, I have no idea. LOL
I guess I'd want to be known for the best low prim furniture store in SL! But that might be a little .....broad. lol

6. Q. : Why did you start/open your business/shop?
     A. :Well, I've always loved architecture, & interior design. Like 2 weeks after I started SL, I built my first mansion. /giggle It sucked, but for my first house, I guess it wasn't bad. LOL Then being I only had 468 prims to work with, I had to find really low prim stuff. There were very few low prim stores then, so I started just making my own. Then when I had friends over, etc, they were all like "WOW you should open a store!" So, a few months later, I teamed up with my neighbor and we bought some land for a store. Ironically, the friends that told me to open the store back in the day, now all say "OMG yer always busy! yer obsessed with your store!" ........................yano the saying "be careful what you wish for?" /giggle

7. Q. : If you had to put a label on your brand, what would it be?
     A. : I sell a little bit of everything for everybody. I have modern furniture, to cute girly furniture, to normal furniture, and I'm gonna be bringing back my goth furniture soon too.

8. Q. : In the future, what can we expect to see coming into your store?
     A. :I'm in the process of remaking all of the sets in the store. I will prolly be adding more modern styles, cuz those are my favorite, but I will keep a nice variety. So, nothing in particular I guess ....just new designs. =) I DO have a new scheme in the works for my beds though. muahahah.

9. Q. : What age group do you gear your items to?
     A. : All, really. I have 1 couch that is scripted with naughty poses, and I offer all my beds with said poses, but I also include a non-scripted version.

And lastly....

10. Q. : Do you have an Updates Group? If so, what is the title, or is it a subscription service?
     A. : Yes I do! And it is a subscribe-o-matic. The thingy is at the front of the store when you walk in ..by the lucky chairs. =)

Pestique Furniture Store - Store Bio

I started building furniture back in the summer of 2008, after trying (and failing) to find a bed i liked :)

Once i got the 'bug' however, I wondered why I hadn't started years ago... Still, I had no notion of selling anything I made, being content to furnish my own house and give a few things away to friends..... who eventually persuaded me that I had something that could possibly sell :)

I started with a small shop on a Christmas sim, with just a few items and a logo including a picture of my cat, Molly (who is now a Mike... long story!) When that sim closed I moved to my current location, basically i fell in love with the building... and have been here since.

I mostly make furniture, of a more traditional kind, 4 post and brass beds, lounge suites, fireplaces.... it seemed like it was a specially long winter, so I cheered myself up by making some beach furniture :) I mostly work with normal prims, but I love sculptie cushions and beanbags. I like my furniture to work, wardrobe doors should open and taps should run (but never drip!) I love colours, lately I have been working with multiple texture options, my partner writes scripts and I have taken full advantage! (although he tells me he enjoys it as well!)

I'm going to be making more room sets in future, co-coordinating and with texture-change options, and also more furniture for couples.... and of course, I'm always striving to make the perfect bath :) Its hard to predict what other people will like... but I don't build to 'sell' as much as for the fun of it.... and I just hope other people will enjoy my furniture as much as I enjoy making it :) I do love getting feedback from customers though, and indeed I have got some great input from them. My store group is simply named 'Pestique', I do have a subscribe-o-matic as well, and of course I sell on Xstreet.com

1. Q. : What is your name & your shop's name?
     A. :Laval Fashion Store

2. Q. : How long has the shop been open?
     A. : I had a shop named Brina Laval Fashion and then Wonder Workers one year ago, but I had to close it because of RL issues. And now I am back with the new design, some of my "old stuff" and a lot of new things. :) So you can say, its open since end of January.

3. Q. : What kind of things do you sell in your shop?
     A. : Mostly fashion for women. Daily outfits, party outfits and now also glamor outfits for jazz evenings or ballrooms. Also I have costumes for carnival or something like that and I am thinking about making more for them. Perhaps some other women heroes like my supergirl or same kind for men. But in time its just an idea, but i think hard about it. :)

     A. : Everything I sell is made by myself. I dont have a partner for my business.

5. Q. : If you could be known for just one thing, what would that one thing be?
